Dr. Edward J. Champey MD, is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, specializing in Pain Management. He treats a variety of conditions including patients who suffer from acute or chronic back and neck pain secondary to herniated disks, pinched nerves, and sciatica. Also, patients who suffer from headaches, work related injuries, and more.
Dr.Champey received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Saba University. After graduating from medical school, he completed his internship in general surgery at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Champey then earned his degree in anesthesia from UMDNJ in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Champey personally performs all Pain Management procedures at Mine Hill Surgical Center, located in Mine Hill, NJ. Dr. Champey has extensive experience in the OR, having performed thousands of epidurals and facet block injections over the past several years. He will fully review your condition, examine you, and recommend the most appropriate treatment intervention. Dr. Wendy Champey has been a NJ licensed anesthesiologist since 2004; specializing in same day ambulatory anesthesia since 2007.
She graduated from Georgetown University in 1995 with a BSN in nursing, and then earned her MD from Saba University in 1999.
Her internship was completed in general surgery at East Carolina University in NC and then she completed her anesthesia residency at St Joseph Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
Her first job was at Mountainside Hospital where she worked for several years while starting a family. Then in 2007, Wendy decided to move to same day ambulatory center anesthesia. She has had many years perfecting her technique to make sure patients are safe during surgery and at the same time, ready to wake up and go home in a timely manner.
Her patients are extremely happy with the treatment they receive while under her care.
